About this product
Raised rather than spun, which is why the wall thickness varies slightly and why the hammer facets catch light the way they do. A spun bowl is perfectly smooth and perfectly dead.
They nest, which matters for both storage and freight — a set of three ships in the volume of one.
Unlined copper is fine for dry service and for fruit. For anything acidic, or for cooking, you want a tinned interior, which we can arrange on wholesale orders.
How it was made
Hand-raised from sheet — Patan, Lalitpur.
Sourced from Patan copper workshop.
Handicrafts & Metalwork — Patan & Bhaktapur. See the rest of this category.
Producer descriptions on this site are sourcing categories rather than named suppliers. Named-supplier disclosure is available to trade buyers under NDA — ask when you request a quote.
Care & keeping
Hand-wash and dry immediately. Copper spots if left wet.
Shipping, duty & returns
Retail orders leave Kathmandu within two working days of payment clearing and are tracked throughout. Free over $150.00; a flat $24.00 below that.
Import duty and tax in your own country are not included and are payable by you. We declare goods at their real value.
Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging. Food, tea, spices, honey and cosmetics are not returnable once opened, which is a food-safety position rather than a commercial one.
