About this product
These are the plain domestic form rather than the elaborate monastery kind — turned on a lathe, buffed, and left alone. The base is weighted so they do not tip.
Traditionally filled with clarified butter and a cotton wick, which burns slower and cleaner than wax. A standard tealight also drops straight in if you would rather.
Sold as a pair because they are almost always used as one.
How it was made

Care & keeping
Brass polish restores the shine; most owners let it go dull.
Shipping, duty & returns
Retail orders leave Kathmandu within two working days of payment clearing and are tracked throughout. Free over $150.00; a flat $24.00 below that.
Import duty and tax in your own country are not included and are payable by you. We declare goods at their real value.
Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging. Food, tea, spices, honey and cosmetics are not returnable once opened, which is a food-safety position rather than a commercial one.
