Frequently asked questions

Minimum orders, samples, payment, private label, lead times and what we will not do.

Is there a minimum order?

Not for retail — buy one of anything. Wholesale MOQs are listed on each product page and vary by line, because a carton of tea and a carved window panel are not comparable things.

Can I get a sample first?

Yes, on any line, and we recommend it on anything you plan to reorder. You pay for the sample and the freight; the sample cost is credited against your first full order.

How do I pay?

Retail: bank transfer, Wise, eSewa or Khalti; cash on delivery inside Nepal. Wholesale: telegraphic transfer, usually 30% with the order and the balance against documents. Letter of credit from around USD 10,000. We do not take card payments yet.

Do you do private label?

On tea, chews, incense, soap and paper goods, from the MOQs shown on each page. You supply artwork; we handle print and application. Allow an extra two to three weeks.

Why is the lead time so long on handwork?

Because it is made after you order it. A hand-raised bowl is two days of work for three or four people, and a carved panel is weeks. Stock lines despatch in days; the difference is stated on every page.

Are your HS codes reliable?

They are real codes matched to each class of goods and labelled indicative. Final classification is your customs authority's decision. Give the code to your broker as a starting point, not as a ruling.

Can you under-declare the value, or mark it as a gift?

No. Not for retail, not for wholesale, not for a favour. It is fraud, it puts the buyer at risk more than us, and it would end our export registration.

Do you guarantee your prices?

Quotations hold for 30 days. Agricultural lines move with the harvest and we will not pretend otherwise — cardamom in particular can move sharply between seasons.

What if my country will not allow the yak chews?

Then we cannot ship them there, and it is much better to establish that at the enquiry stage. Ask us and we will tell you what we know; confirm it with your own authority before ordering.

Do you sell on Amazon or through distributors?

We sell direct from this site and direct to trade buyers. Where a buyer holds exclusivity for a market we will say so if you ask about that market.
