About this product

Sang is not a stick and not a cone — it is loose herb, thrown by the pinch onto embers or a purpose-made burner. It produces a great deal of smoke very quickly, which is the intended behaviour.

Use a small pinch. A teaspoon will empty a room.

Ground from dried juniper, cedar and a handful of aromatic mountain herbs. No binder and no oil, which is why the smell is flatter and drier than stick incense and much more like the plant.

How it was made

Sun-dried and stone-ground — Mustang.

Sourced from Incense workshop, Kathmandu.

Producer descriptions on this site are sourcing categories rather than named suppliers. Named-supplier disclosure is available to trade buyers under NDA — ask when you request a quote.

Care & keeping

Airtight. Burn on charcoal in a heatproof vessel, on a stable surface.

Shipping, duty & returns

Retail orders leave Kathmandu within two working days of payment clearing and are tracked throughout. Free over $150.00; a flat $24.00 below that.

Import duty and tax in your own country are not included and are payable by you. We declare goods at their real value.

Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging. Food, tea, spices, honey and cosmetics are not returnable once opened, which is a food-safety position rather than a commercial one.
