About this product
Dhoop is made by mixing resin, herb and a binder into a paste and extruding it, then drying it hard. Because there is no bamboo core there is no burnt-bamboo note underneath the fragrance, which is the main reason people who dislike stick incense often get on with dhoop.
Nag champa is a resin blend built around halmaddi. It is sweet and heavy, and fifteen sticks will last most people a long time.
Burn on a flat ash tray — dhoop does not sit in a standard stick holder.
How it was made
Hand-extruded, air-dried — Kathmandu.
Sourced from Incense workshop, Kathmandu.
Incense & Herbs — Mustang & Kathmandu. See the rest of this category.
Producer descriptions on this site are sourcing categories rather than named suppliers. Named-supplier disclosure is available to trade buyers under NDA — ask when you request a quote.
Care & keeping
Keep sealed and cool — halmaddi softens in heat.
Shipping, duty & returns
Retail orders leave Kathmandu within two working days of payment clearing and are tracked throughout. Free over $150.00; a flat $24.00 below that.
Import duty and tax in your own country are not included and are payable by you. We declare goods at their real value.
Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging. Food, tea, spices, honey and cosmetics are not returnable once opened, which is a food-safety position rather than a commercial one.
