Cut from a single plank so the pair matches, with the natural edge left on one side. Sal is dense enough not to soak up much and hard enough not to score badly under a knife, though we would rather you served on these than chopped on them.
Finished with a food-safe mineral-oil and beeswax mix, which needs redoing every few months and is a two-minute job.
Grain and colour vary plank to plank. The pair will match each other; they will not match the photograph.
