About this product
First flush is the smallest and most nervous crop of the year. The bushes have been dormant through the cold and the first new growth carries a concentration of aromatics that later pluckings simply do not have — which is why the window is measured in weeks and why the price is what it is.
This lot is orthodox-processed: withered for fourteen to sixteen hours, rolled rather than cut, oxidised lightly and fired. The leaf stays whole and you can see it. Brewed at 85 °C for three minutes it gives a light copper liquor, a distinct muscatel edge and no astringency to speak of.
Sold as a garden-level lot with the flush stated, because "Nepali black tea" tells a buyer almost nothing.

Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging. Food, tea, spices, honey and cosmetics are not returnable once opened, which is a food-safety position rather than a commercial one.
