About this product
Golden tips are the downy unopened buds. Sorting enough of them to make a lot like this is slow work and it shows in both the appearance of the dry leaf and the body of the cup.
Fully oxidised, so it takes milk without disappearing, but it is worth trying black first — the malt and the faint stonefruit are easy to lose. Brew at 95 °C for four minutes.
Packed in a lined tin rather than a pouch, because bud-heavy leaf is fragile and travels badly loose.
How it was made
