About this product
Herringbone is woven on a four-shaft loom with the twill direction reversed at intervals, which is why it takes longer than a plain weave and why the cloth is more stable — it resists the diagonal pull that makes plain-weave blankets go out of square.
Two-tone: the warp is one shade, the weft another, so the colour shifts depending on the angle you look at it.
At 850 g this is warm in the way a wool blanket is, without the weight sitting on you.
How it was made
Handloom, two-tone herringbone twill — Kathmandu Valley.
Sourced from Handloom weaving workshop.

Producer descriptions on this site are sourcing categories rather than named suppliers. Named-supplier disclosure is available to trade buyers under NDA — ask when you request a quote.
Care & keeping
Dry clean. Air it rather than washing it whenever you can.
Shipping, duty & returns
Retail orders leave Kathmandu within two working days of payment clearing and are tracked throughout. Free over $150.00; a flat $24.00 below that.
Import duty and tax in your own country are not included and are payable by you. We declare goods at their real value.
Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging. Food, tea, spices, honey and cosmetics are not returnable once opened, which is a food-safety position rather than a commercial one.
