About this product

Felting over a last means the slipper is formed as a single continuous piece rather than cut and sewn. There is no interior seam, which is the usual failure point in a wool slipper.

The sole is suede, stitched rather than glued, and it grips on wood. It is not an outdoor sole.

Wool will mould to the foot over the first fortnight and then stay that shape, so order true to size rather than large.

How it was made

Wet-felted over a last, hand-stitched sole — Kathmandu.

Sourced from Felt workshop, Kathmandu.

Producer descriptions on this site are sourcing categories rather than named suppliers. Named-supplier disclosure is available to trade buyers under NDA — ask when you request a quote.

Care & keeping

Air them. Hand-wash cold only if you must, and dry stuffed with paper so they keep their shape.

Shipping, duty & returns

Retail orders leave Kathmandu within two working days of payment clearing and are tracked throughout. Free over $150.00; a flat $24.00 below that.

Import duty and tax in your own country are not included and are payable by you. We declare goods at their real value.

Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging. Food, tea, spices, honey and cosmetics are not returnable once opened, which is a food-safety position rather than a commercial one.
