About this product
Drying concentrates the gingerols and converts some of them, which is why dried ginger tastes hot and peppery where fresh tastes bright and green. They are not interchangeable.
Sold whole rather than ground. Whole rhizome keeps its oils; ground ginger loses most of them within months of milling.
Nepal is a significant ginger producer and most of the crop leaves as raw rhizome. This is the dried, graded, export-clean version of it.

Retail orders leave Kathmandu within two working days of payment clearing and are tracked throughout. Free over $150.00; a flat $24.00 below that.
Import duty and tax in your own country are not included and are payable by you. We declare goods at their real value.
Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging. Food, tea, spices, honey and cosmetics are not returnable once opened, which is a food-safety position rather than a commercial one.
